"Ne, ne Sasuke!" Naruto poked at Sasuke.
Sasuke hid his annoyance as he mumbled "what Dobe?"
Now just to bug Sasuke, Naruto replied, "Hehe, I like you Sasuke."
Sasuke nearly jumped in surprise…. Nearly. "Do you now?" he stated calmly.
Naruto nodded innocently. Oh how Sasuke loved Naruto's naïveness.
"What about you Sasuke? Do you like me?"
Sasuke resided to take this chance and leaned very close to Naruto. Naruto could now feel his heart suddenly beat faster and his face get hot. "Yes Naruto, I like you very much."
Naruto's blush got deeper. "Glad you like me Teme." Naruto said shyly as he scooted away. Sasuke only scooted closer; Naruto's back was now against his chair.
"You don't get it dobe. I don't JUST like you. I love you."
Before Naruto could process what Sasuke had said, Sasuke's lips were pressed firmly against his own. Naruto couldn't think, his mind became cloudy in the indulgence of the kiss. 'Sasuke's lips are so soft and warm.' Naruto thought. His heart began to flutter and he kissed back without realizing it.
Slowly Sasuke pulled away from Naruto and smirked confidently. Naruto's face was flushed crimson red as he sat there stunned. "I…I love you too …s…Sasuke."
"I know you do dobe." Sasuke gave Naruto a real smile for the first time ever, only to make Naruto blush even more. Sasuke then left to go 'take care of some business.' It seemed to be the perfect timing because just as he left Sakura had shown up five minutes later. 'I swear he has a sixth sense when it comes to Sakura.' That didn't matter to Naruto right now though, Sasuke had told Naruto he loved him, and Naruto realized he loved him back.
