The team had just woken up from a living nightmare, a few seemed shocked, Megan cried, and Robin…he had the biggest strain, he was panting and sweating, mixed in with the sweat were tears although he tried to hide it.
On the way back to the Bat-Cave, Robin was quiet, too quiet.
"What's on your mind?" Batman knew it had to do with the exercise.
"Y-you were all gone, dead. I lost you, I lost my family again." After he said this, tears began to run from underneath his dark sunglasses.
Batman pulled over and embraced his ward; the boy began to sob uncontrollably.
"I felt so alone. No one knew what to do. I had to stay strong and be the leader, it was so hard..." he whispered.
"I should have remembered, I did longer than anyone but…when I learned that you had died for real…" fresh tears began to run down his face once more.
His sobs began to slow down until he had finally calmed down, Batman just hugged him tighter.
"You started screaming, when you died. You screamed my name." Batman said.
Robin hugged Batman closer and whispered.
"I love you dad"
