On the morning of February fourteenth, Dumbledore noticed there was a deep humming coming from Hagrid's open door.

He approached it and stepped inside, seeing to his amusement, that Hagrid was standing at his stove with his apron on, humming a happy tune to himself.

Fang let out a sudden loud bark, causing Hagrid to turn and see Dumbledore standing inside his hut.

"Headmaster, I didn't see ya there. How are ya?"

"I'm fine, thank you. You seem very happy today. What's the occasion?"

"Oh! Er…I have a date with Madam Maxime tonight. I'm gonna set up a picnic in my garden. What do ya think?"

"It's sounds like a perfectly nice time. However, you may wish to check on your food; there is a fair amount of smoke coming from your oven."

Hagrid yelped, turning back to the rolling black smoke, quickly extracting their dinner.

"Ah, very good, very good. I rather think I should quit distracting you before more harm is done. Good day to you, Hagrid."

Later that night there was a knock at Hagrid's door and Fang's booming voice rang out into the evening air.

"Be quiet, you dozy dog," Hagrid grumbled, opening the door.

Before him stood the heavenly form of Olympe, standing in the light of the setting sun.

"Hello Olympe, you look wonderful. Are ya ready for a lovely meal?" As he asked, there was a whooshing sound from behind her, followed by a bright light.

She turned around and exclaimed, "'ow romanteek!"

He took her hand and led her out to the candlelit garden.

"This eez very lovely," she said softly, taking a seat on the shedding moleskin blanket. She look around and saw Hagrid's famous rock cakes and said, "Oh 'agrid, 'ow did you know zey were my favorite?"

Sitting, they ate all of the food Hagrid had spent the entire day making. As he was pouring the whisky for the twelfth time, Fang came bounding up and bumped into his arm. The full tankard spilled all down Olympe's pretty new dress.

"Sorry 'bout that. Fang, you daffy dog! Are ya alright?"

"I'm fine, my love. But, per'aps we could step inside to dry my gown by ze fireplace," she suggested.

Hagrid gulped but nodded his head quickly and they hurried to his hut. He drew his one curtain shut and Olympe peered out the door, then shut it with a large smile.

"Ah, young love," Dumbledore smiled, returning to the castle, admiring the way Hagrid's entire hut rocked rhythmically.

The End.
