Summary: Today is Sasuke and Naruto's anniversary and Naruto is nowhere in sight.
The wind blew cold and strong indicating a thunder storm that Sasuke knew would come. He looked up at the bleak gray sky with forlorn eyes, wondering where his lover was. He got off the dusty ground and stretched his aching muscles resulting in the long wait. Sasuke looked around him once more at the familiar setting he and his lover spent time together with. He chuckled while wiping a frosty tear off his face; thinking of how he found Naruto crying his eyes out thinking Sasuke would ever love someone else. His quite chuckles turned into sobs that shook his body. He stopped himself when he remembered his promise to Tsunade he would be there tomorrow. For tomorrow was the day Sasuke wished would not come.
The sun showered pale light over from his window displaying the disheveled room. The room was in total disaster; cabinets' shelves torn or dangling from the cabinet, mass heaps of clothing lying on the floor, posters, and pictures, all in the same situation. Except for one photo, one solitary photo of a smiling boy who seemed to know you so well. Naruto Uzumaki. Posted on the empty wall.
Sasuke opened his red-tear stained eyes, only a slit then quickly shut them. Groaning he pushed the covers and sat upright, shivering in only his boxers. He knew he had to get ready, for today was the day.
Sasuke silently breathed in a sigh and turned on his sleek new black car he received on his birthday, from Naruto. He headed out the driveway and into the path that lead to his destination.
Sasuke headed into his Team mate driveway. He turned of the car and dialed her number. Brring brrring "hello? Sakura speaking" "…hey Sakura-chan its me Sasuke..Are you ready yet" "Oh! Sasuke I was just about to call you" her voice sounding gloomy. "And yes, am on my way the plane leaves at one so we should be on our way". "No need I am already here, we should take the bus—it's more convenient". "Okay come on in I am just locking up". Sasuke hanged up and headed to the house. He went inside the warm house, and looked inside the well-furnished house on one corner you could see an early Christmas tree, and a purple bra lying on the floor "nice Sakura, nice" he thought. He strolled into the kitchen only to find Shikamaru eating breakfast. "Hey look what the cat dragged in, nice to see you well" Sasuke announced. Shikamaru looked up with Fruity Pebbles filled in his mouth and shook his head. Shikamaru fattened up a little revealing a more chubby face. "Troublesome" he spoke with milk dripping down his chin. Sasuke chuckled while eating an apple he found on Shikamaru suitcase.
"Hey, am done---ohff!" Sakura came in the kitchen dropping her suitcase on the ground. "Hurry up you guys we don't want to get Tsunade mad".
