Summary: The year is 3228. Mankind has revolutionized their technological advances to such extremeties that "aliens" called yokai have made themselves apparent to the world. The jump drive of the TMfields have aided yokai to return back to their homeworld beyond the realm of the dreaming, where the teaming alien lifeforms dwell. Sesshomaru is a government official of special unit task force establish to maintain peace between the "aliens" and the humans. But not all is well…

The Dreaming: the realm that the "aliens" come from.
TM field: Terror Mechanism, the term for demons who use their yoki, chi, or jyaki powers.
Prana: The spiritual lifeforce of humans, especially found in humans such as priestesses and monks.
TT Drive: Terror Trigger Drive, the fierce yoki expelled from and by half demons.
"Aliens": The term given to demons.
Gynoid: Synthetic lifeforms, sometimes a term for inorganically made half-demons.
Seriphot: The tree of life.
Off-worlders: People whom don't belong in the dreaming, sometimes can be called by other terms/names.
Clutch or sometimes Spawn: eggs laid by certain "aliens."; snakes, kappas, dragons, imps, frogs, devils, ogres, etc. (i.e Jaken)
Brood: offspring made by certain "aliens"; dog demons, foxes, otters, wolves, etc (i.e Koga)
Fold: offspring made by certain "aliens"; sprites, tennyos, djinn, etc
Other: This story takes place in the mass effect-like universe, using some influences and terms, as well as familiar landmarks/dialogue from the game. If you have never played Mass Effect, watch it on youtube or pick up the game. All the characters will be making appearences in this fanfiction.
