Devil May Cry

~Prologue

She couldn't wait no longer; her crimson eyes peered through the darkness as the rain soaked her outfit and her darkened tan skin. Her lips, glossed with the color of pearl pink as she frowned in distress. Her soft black hair shined with the small embrace of the moon—but though she felt the embrace of her mother, the moon, she still was irritated by two things: leaving her best friend, Crina behind to fight the demons with Nero and waiting for that dumb-ass man who most of the time, late- Dante; and tonight was definitely not the night for him to be late.

"Screw it… I'm going to help them!" sighed the young woman as she ran to the gates of the mansion entrances and heading to the front where she saw the huge horde of different demons—all ranging from low class to the highest of the high; she grabbed her both of her twins guns Angel and Devil and prepared herself for one huge hell of a fight for the night.

"Crina, how ya holding up?" shouted Nero as he slashed the demon away with his sword, Red Queen, unable to see the girl he held dear to his heart. Slashing another demon away he realized that he didn't hear her voice responding back to him. His heart dropped as he felt a pressure, damaging his courage—he screamed out her name, hoping that she would reply, "Crina!"… Again, she didn't respond—he knew something was wrong. As soon as he turned his around in search of his partner, another demon grabbed him by the neck as its comrades started to attack him. Fear and anger sprouted through him as he listened to his heart beating against the walls of his skin—darkness began to feed on his fear and immediately, without his conscience, he unleashed his devil, Yamato, and slashed away the demon that held his neck.

"Get away from her…" he growled lowly as his aura seemed to seep into the dark atmosphere; making everything dangerously heavy, "Get Away From Crina!" he roared loudly, sending a huge shockwave and blasting away the demons.

Lucretia started shooting at the demons around her… but to her surprise, the demons stopped attacking her and turned around. Letting her guard down for this brief moment, she sensed the air in the atmosphere reeked with an odor of pure darkness. As she began to ask herself what horrifying being was about to come, the shockwave of Nero's roar was coming to her way and she noticed the flying demons heading her way. Quickly, she dropped to the ground and shielded her face from the flying tornado of demons; but through all of this "excitement", she could only shout out one thing, "Dante is definitely owes me! And I'm making sure he pays me back, that asshole!"
