A young girl with light pink hair looked up at the midnight sky and sighed with hope it was freezing cold and yet she sat there on the roof in nothing but a tank top and jean shorts she loved the snow everything about it so she refused to wear a jacket or stop wearing flip flops she just wanted that first snowflake to fall atop her tongue then she would be overjoyed and smile a wide and beautiful smile she would always turn toward me and laugh as we sat outside and stuck her tongue to the clean crisp air when she got a cold I would sit next to her and watch her stare out the window intently with sorrowful eyes she always wore a frown until that season then suddenly frown again when Hatori told her no she had been terribly sick lately laying in bed she would always ask me if the snow had came yet as I shook my head she frowned and sighed a few nights after she finally felt well enough to walk she sat by the window again I saw her today when it happened she had dropped to the wooden floor deep breathing I walked over to her and picked her up off of the cold floor and she whispered
"Yuki I want to see it" I put my fingers to her mouth and sat her down on the bed
"Don't use you're strength on me" Looking at her with sad eye's she turned away from me I a small cry was heard I took a step toward her and she turned around quickly so she was facing me
"Yuki I want to taste the snow as a death wish will I ever be well enough to leave this place again" She grabbed my sleeve and held a heavy frown I struggled to get loose but she kept a tight grip she finally let go and looked to the floor "I'm sorry" she cried and I sighed
"Do you really want to taste Yuki that badly" She looked up at me again and nodded squinting my eye's I took a step closer to her and smiled "Alright" I said falling down to her my lips fell upon hers and her eye's widened she just sat there as I broke the small kiss and smiled wrapping my arms around her waist she touched her lips and smiled a bit
"Yuki I tasted the most beautiful thing in the world and it wasn't snow" She said looking up at me she leaned her head on my shoulder
