Musical Chairs Competition: Round 2

Prompt: Wearing mismatched earrings because the other halves of both pairs are lost. (action)

Luna Lovegood was an eccentric girl. Yes, eccentric was the perfect word to describe her.

But the angel who had stolen his heart was Harry's favorite way of describing her.

Once, Harry had asked her why she wore mismatched earrings. He had bowed his head, trying to fight the blush creeping onto his cheeks.

Oh, how he loved her. Those entrancing, blue eyes, always far off in another world. Those beautiful platinum locks that he longed to cool around his finger.

But most of all, he loved her mismatched earrings. A radish and a daisy one day, and a turnip and a butterfly the next. She was so unpredictable. So wild and untamable. So free.

"The other halves are lost," Luna had said in her musical voice, shrugging.

"Tha- that's ingenious!" Harry had exclaimed.

Oh, yes, Harry Potter had fallen head over heels in love with Luna Lovegood.
