Disclaimer: I own nothing, putting it simply Nawn would be cannon if I did.
Dawn was meditating on a rock as the sun slowly rose above Camp Wawanakwa. It was a typical morning, Brick and Jo were out on their early morning marathon run, Brick often tried to avoid Racing Jo but to no avail. Dawn sighed as she felt them sprint past, obviously trying to gain the upper hand on their opponent. She knew that Jo had a slight crush on the cadet, but Brick didn't understand that way she showed him is by trying to gain his attention by racing him. It was in Jo's aura that she was to proud to accept help, but Dawn had tried to help nonetheless. Jo wouldn't hear of it and just told her to go away.
Dawn was so lost in her thoughts about the unrequited love that she didn't notice the figure approaching her. It was only when the figure sat down next to her that she'd noticed there was someone with her. She turned to see it was the island's resident bookworm Noah. Dawn blushed slightly when she saw who it was, she'd always harboured a little crush on him ever since they'd talked to each other at the playa de losers.
You'd of thought they were polar opposites but that wasn't the case. In fact, they had quite a lot in common. They both shared a love of English literature and the classics such as Jane Eyre or Pride and Prejudice. They also both loved the Harry Potter series, Noah admitted that he thought Dawn was a real life Luna Lovegood.
"I always love watching the sun rise," Noah's voice interrupted her thoughts.
"I love watching the colours of the sky changing as the sun rises." Dawn replied as she saw the beginning of the sun start to rise above the distance horizon.
"Sometimes I think that I don't appreciate this planet enough, there's so much beauty in it that's never seen due to our ignorance of wondrous nature around us." Noah said as he turned to face Dawn.
"Yet we see so much but don't pay attention to it, we are surrounded by the pure beauty of nature sometimes but since we are so focused on ourselves, we don't properly see it." Dawn focused her attentions on the blushing bookworm.
"Sometimes it doesn't have to be nature that's beautiful though. Your one of the most beautiful I've ever seen yet no one pays attention to you." Noah unintentionally leant closer to Dawn.
"We perhaps it is because to find true beauty you have to look further than the outside and look at the heart inside a person." Dawn found herself gazing into Noah's deep brown eyes as the gap between them closed and Noah pressed his lips against hers. There was only bliss before the pulled away from each other and just smiled.
"I always loved watching the sunset," Noah said as he pulled Dawn into a hug as they watched the sun rise slowly above Camp Wawanakwa
