A new threat is about to darken skylands. This threat is about to be more deadly then anything the skylanders have faced. In order to face this conflict, some need to put aside their rivalry, their past, join enemies and go to extreme lengths to stop this darkness as the skylanders and portal master alone cannot stop this force.

Skylands is in great danger. An unknown force is about to darken skylands and it is way more powerful than anything skylands has ever known. Can the skylanders defeat this force of darkness or will they be overcome by the empire? Some of even the most powerful skylanders cannot fight them and it is feared that the skylanders may not be able to stop them.
