A/N:Hello!! This is a story I kinda copied off of a ghost story I found in my sisters ghost story book. Yep. Here it is! (This takes place when Hinata's young.)
Hyuuga Hinata was always frightened of ghosts. Ever since her cousin Neji told her they exist. She always thought if she didn't behave, one would come and kill her.
"Tonight's the night you will die," Neji taunted. "You haven't been good lately. Your mommy even said so."
Hinata glared at the older Hyuuga. "I will not die tonight, Neji. You're making it all up."
Neji smirked. "Ok, fine. Don't believe me," he turned around so Hinata could see his back only. "But something bad will happen tonight, Hinata. I'm sure of it." He walked away to the front door. Leaving Hinata. He's bluffing. Nothing bad will happen. Hmph. Stupid boy. Hinata walked upstairs to her bedroom; down the hall…she placed her hand on the cold doorknob. Slowly turning it in her hand; the door swung open. Cautiously, she placed one foot in front of the other. She reached her twin-sized bed, lay down, and pulled the blankets to her shoulders. I'm feeling uneasy...why? After a moment, four-year-old Hinata drifted off to sleep.

"Hinata?" someone said.
Hinata's eyes shot open.
"Hiiiiiiiiinatttttaaaa?" it was the same person.
She glanced around the room. Sitting up in bed, she looked out the window. Nothing. That's odd. I could've sworn I heard my name being called. It must be my imagination…
She lay back down in bed. And closed her eyes.
"Hinata…I'm coming up the stairs…
One…
Two…
Three…
Almost there…" a far away voice spoke.
"Who said that?" Hinata demanded. No answer. I'm going crazy…it's Neji…right?
"I'm not Neji…foolish girl…it's me…"
"Who's me? Neji if it's you, you're not funny. Cut it out!" Hinata was getting mad. "Neji…? It's you…right?"
"I'm walking down the hallway…I'm going past Hinabi's bedroom…I'm almost there…"
"Cut it out! You're not funny!" Hinata was in tears. She cried when she was scared.
"I'm at your door…"
"No you're not!" Hinata pulled the blankets over her head. "There's no such thing as ghosts!"
"I'm in your room…"
"No! You're not!"
"I'm by your bed…"
Suddenly, Hinata let out a piercing loud screech. "Mommy! Daddy!"
Hinata's parents ran into their daughter's bedroom, to find her in tears, and screaming. "Hinata!" her mother flicked on the light as she ran to her bed. "Sweetie, it's me, Mom. You're ok; it was just a dream." Hinata stared up at her mother. "It wasn't a dream! It was real! Someone's in my room!" Hinata's father came rushing in. "Hinata, you're fine. Nobody's in your room besides you, your mother, and me. Calm down."
"I'll try." Hinata said between whimpers.
"Good," her mother gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Now get some sleep." She walked over to the light and flipped the switch off.
"Yes, you need rest." Her father said as he left the room; closing the door behind him. "Good night." They both called.
"Good night." Hinata sat up. That was dream. It wasn't real. Now, I need to sleep. She sat back in her bed. And closed her white eyes.
"No it wasn't." the voice came back…
A/N: yeah, I know. The ending was kinda weird. This idea was in my head for a while now, so I just had to type it. Ok, who else has seen 1408?? That movie is FREAKNIG awesome!!
