Priest Seto's POV-Diary
Today has been a marvellous occasion, my cousin Atem has just been crowned as Pharaoh. The former King, Pharaoh Aknamkanon passed away just days ago, so being that it was Atem's 16th birthday yesterday he is now old enough to take the throne, all the citizen of Egypt had gathered around the Palace to welcome their new King, there was music playing & female servants dancing for him. I'm not jealous, but it is going to be interesting to see how this boy who is at least two years younger than me is going to rule.
While we were celebrating his coronation, an intruder was sensed by a fellow Royal court member named Mahad, "My Millenium Ring sensing a dark presence approaching" he said with a grimace on his face, before long the sound of horse hooves where heard. Coming into the Palace & stopping at the doorway of the throne room was Bakura, I couldn't believe my eyes, how could someone be so rude, interrupting one of the most sacred ceremonies in Egyptian culture.
I didn't know much about Bakura, but my master Aknadin did. This man was evil, I know that because he said he wanted our Millenium items including the Pharaohs, he also mentioned that he had a 'Master' of his own that needed resurrecting. Calling out our monsters we attacked this thief who out of nowhere summoned not one but two monsters of his own to challenge us, try as we might we could not defeat his snake tail beast, but there was one person who could.
I don't know what happened while he was knelt down on the floor next to Shimon but he suddenly started saying something about the 'Egyptian Gods', I've never known anyone powerful enough to summon them but with spiritual help from his Father, Atem was able to summon Obelisk the Tormentor. Fighting back with his own monster, Bakura called for it to attack Atem using a monster who was on par with its power level.
Taking his leave Bakura whistled for his horse to come, jumping on it he rode out of the Palace & down the terraces telling us that we 'haven't seen the last of him' as the guards desperately tried to hold him back & arrest him for such behaviour. With two of his henchmen following after him Bakura rode off back to his hideout. After all the commotion was over I came out to the balcony where Atem was stood with Shimon & Mahad, who was down on one knee, bowing in respect. Turning around to look at us Master Aknadin commended Atem on 'how bravely he had fought'.
But now this got me thinking "Is He really be the chosen Pharaoh that the scriptures speak of, he is so young & yet already he is showing the determination & strength of a true leader & King", looking at Master Aknadin & then to Atem I say "Yes, Thanks to you we can all rest easy" with a slight smile on my face.
As the evening continued I went back to my studies, where I currently am now writing this diary, I don't normally do things like this but now that my cousin is King & his reign has only just begun, what does the rest of our future entail? Will Atem get married& produce an heir? I have often wondered this many a time, even when my Uncle Aknamkanon was still alive, only time will tell & that is a story for another day.

I've seen this episode many times & have wanted to write a story on it like the other one 'Atem's rant', but havent had the inspiration, this is from S5 ep 203- The Intruder pt2, If anyone wants me to write another one of these especially from Season 5 just put in in the review, might add my OC into into like I didnt with Atem's rant, but let me know
