"Mom, I promise you, I did my homework already!" Ysabel shouted, giving out an angry 'nyaaaa' afterwards.
"I'm sorry, okay? It's just that ever since you bought that Devil May Boo-hoo game, you've been fantasizing about Dante, and I just feel as if it's taking your mind off of your studies."
"It's Devil May Cry." Ysabel corrected, rolling her eyes. "Besides, mom, I assure you. I've been paying just as much attention to lessons."
Her mom smiled.
"Fine, kid. Go take a nap. We'll talk more about it, later at dinner. Give me some time to prepare food first. I'll wake you up after."
Ysabel nodded obediently and watched her mother vacate the room. Then, she flomped down the bed and closed her eyes.
"Dante..."
