A/N: Just decided to write this cute, quick on-shot.
"Hey! Baseball idiot!" Gokudera shouted, waving his hand quickly. "Keep your eye on the ball!"
Yamamoto looked up into the stands and smiled at Gokudera. Yamamoto, being the idiot he is, thought that Gokudera was waving to him, so he waved back and missed the ball. "Oops, haha." Yamamoto grinned.
"Focus!" His team mates yelled at him.
"Right!" Yamamoto was focused, nothing could get his attention away from the ball. Well except Gokudera who, in Yamamoto's mind, was in a cheerleader uniform, waving around pom-poms.
"Strike two!" Was the thing that snapped him out of his thoughts.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? JUST HIT THE BALL!" His teammates and his coach were yelling at him.
"I got it!" Yamamoto nodded and thought to himself, 'it's time to get serious'. 'Go Yama go! Go Yama go!' He was back in his daydreaming again. This time Gokudera was doing the splits.
"Strike three! You're out!"
"And that ends the game!" The person in the box announced. "Cedar Middle wins!"
"What's wrong with you?!" His teammates asked, circling him angrily. "You cost us the game!" One shouted, throwing his bat at Yamamoto's feet.
"I'm sorry, haha. I guess I've been daydreaming a little." Yamamoto grinned.
"Yeah? Well snap out of it or you're off this team!" His coach yelled at him.
After everyone left the field, Yamamoto was still there. He sighed to himself and tried to get rid of his thoughts about Gokudera.
"Baseball idiot! What was that?" Gokudera asked, walking towards him angrily. "You lost the game! I thought baseball was important to you."
"I guess I've just been out of it lately." Yamamoto laughed half-heartedly.
Gokudera noticed. "What's wrong? You're not being idiotic."
"Nothing." Yamamoto said, getting up.
"No! You aren't leaving until you tell me." Gokudera said childishly.
"You really want to know?" Yamamoto asked.
"I wouldn't be wasting my time here if I didn't!" Gokudera shouted.
Yamamoto bit his lip and looked at the ground.
"Just hurry u- Mphf!" Gokudera was cut off by Yamamoto's lips pressing against his. Gokudera turned bright red and pushed Yamamoto away. "What are you doing, baseball idiot?!" He asked.
"I like you, Hayato. I like you a lot." Yamamoto said, cautiously.
Gokudera was quiet, then he suddenly slammed his fist into Yamamoto's head. "Don't call me Hayato, baseball idiot!" He shouted.
"I'm sorry." Yamamoto said dejectedly.
Gokudera glanced at him and sighed. He grabbed Yamamoto's injured head and smashed his lips against his. "You better not tell anyone, baseball idiot!" Gokudera shouted, walking away, his face beat red.
Yamamoto touches his lips and smiled, running after Gokudera.
A/N: That was a very quickly and poorly written one-shot.
