prologue
1750
I looked at the robber my mother had hidden me when she heard him coming. He was tall and shadowy in his hand he held a pistol.
"Run" my mother mouthed. I ran before I got far bang! filled the air. I stopped running and glanced back. Bang! BANG! The harsh sound filled my ears as he shot my lovely kind mother. Then he aimed his gun at me. I turned to run. BANG! It went straight through my back. As I fell I heard someone near by. I blacked out as I flew to heaven.
Then the fire started.
It burned and burned
And burned and burned
After what seemed like years.
When I awoke I could see and hear everything so much more clearly. I felt stronger too, like I could do anything.
"Hello my name is Carlisle Cullen"
My throat flared with a horrible burning feeling.
"What am I ?" I rasped
"Your a vampire" he whispered sadly
"Would you like to hunt?"
"please"
