Summary: How will the survivors react when a teenage girl appears from the jungle, claiming to be on the plane, but having no memories of what happened when she crashed on the island? Is she telling the truth, or is she one of The Others?
A/N: This is set after S.O.S., purely because that's as far as I've seen in the second series. Stupid UK television. Hope you enjoy. Please reply and let me know what y'all think.

Learning To Trust
Prologue
"We should head back, you know," Charlie said, peering at Mr Eko through the growing darkness. "I mean, it's dark and we're in the middle of the jungle... You know what I'm saying? Why do we need the wood from these trees, anyway?"
"I like these trees," Eko replied, and continued to hack at the tree with the axe.
"Yeah, but it's like, late," Charlie zipped up his jumper, and stuck his hands in his pockets. "And we're in the middle of this big jungle, and there's all these black smoke things, and strange people, and...polar bears! But, hey, we don't have to worry about them, 'cause we need these trees!"
Eko stopped hacking at the tree, and pointed to the left of Charlie. "Camp is a quarter of a mile that way. Keep walking in a straight line, and you'll arrive back at the camp. I'll come when I'm done with the wood." He went back to hacking at the tree with his axe.
"What?" Charlie asked, giving Eko a strange look. "You think I'm gonna march through the jungle in the dark? No way. I'd rather stay here with you, and your wood, and your big...Jesus stick!"
There was a rustling in the bushes to the left. Eko stopped hacking at the tree.
"What is it-?" Eko held his finger up to his lips, and Charlie shut up immediately.
The rustling continued, and began to get louder.
"Is it them?" Charlie whispered to Eko. Eko shook his head, and lowered his axe. "Who is it then?"
Eko's eyes were fixed on the direction of the rustling. "Perhaps it is Vincent," He said quietly.
Charlie looked in interest in the direction of the rustling. If it wasn't The Others, then who was it?
The bushes began to part. Charlie took a step backwards. Eko stepped forwards, and pulled his 'Jesus Stick' out of his belt.
A hand appeared, and pushed a branch away. Charlie stepped began to step backwards, but then noticed the long, thin nails on the hands. A big chunky ring sat on the middle finger.
"A girl?" He whispered. His companion didn't reply.
The branch was pushed back, and then a figure stepped forwards.
The ring-encrusted hand pushed back a long strand of brown hair. Large, confused grey eyes flicked between Charlie and Eko.
"Where am I?" She whispered.
