This is my newest poem for those of you who have been keeping track. It is based on a story I am in the middle of posting. It is Aragorn talking to Legolas when he elf is in a state of unconsciousness, pleading to hi to hold on to his life. I like it, but PLEASE let me know what you think. (Less depressing than Explain to Me)
All Through The Night
I'll lie by your side till the moon disappears,
waiting for you to come back to me
I'll hold your hand in mine till it falls from my grasp,
calling you back to this earth
If I must I will give up my soul,
to make sure you awaken once more
Hold on to this string of light my brother,
do not let it go, for I cannot bare to lose you
Remember all your life has yet to offer,
do not cast that aside for the cold hand of death
Let your soul again walk this earth,
for the stone paved rode you turn to has no life
Come back to the light of this world,
stray from the calming dark and head towards me
Leave the feeling of peace, no matter how hard,
come back to your home
Listen to me my friend,
hear my plea, for it is for your life
Until you open your eyes to this world again,
I will stay with you, all through the night
