This is the sequel to 'Hamilton-Needle Point'! I hope you like it as much as the first one!

The Dentist

Lafayette popped his head out of the pond, scared.

"I don't want to go to the dentist today" he said.

Hercules walked over to the scared French Man, patting his hair.

"Laf, let me tell you this. Unlike when we all went to get our shots, John and Alexander have separate appointments today. You and I have the same dentist appointment today. So I'll be in the same room as you" Hercules reassured Lafayette.

Lafayette climbed out of the pond, calming down.

"Thank you for telling me" Lafayette said.

The only time Lafayette is not scared when he's at the dentist is when Hercules is at the same appointment as him, but that usually happened in his dreams. Now it was actually going to happen.

(30 minutes later)

Hercules and Lafayette were cuddling each other on the couch in the waiting room, waiting for their turn.

"When is Alexander's appointment?" Lafayette asked.

"5 o clock" Hercules replied.

"And John?" Lafayette asked.

"7 o clock" Hercules replied.

"Lafayette, Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert Du Motier De and Mulligan, Hercules" the person at the desk said.

"Finally!" Hercules said.

Lafayette and Hercules held hands while walking to the dentist room.

(2 minutes later)

"Alright. So, for once, Lafayette isn't scared of me" the dentist (that's the name of the doctor at a dentist office) said.

"That's because I'm with him" Hercules replied.

"Okay. Hercules, I'll check and clean your teeth first" the dentist said.

Hercules sat down at the chair. He looked at Lafayette. Lafayette smiled at him.

(20 minutes later)

"Lafayette, it's your turn" the dentist said.

As soon as Lafayette sat down on the dentist chair, he felt Hercules' hand on him. Lafayette gave Hercules a thumbs up. He was ready for this!

(2 hours later)

"Laf!" Hercules whispered.

Lafayette woke up, his mouth numb from the laughing gas. He looked up at Hercules.

"I'm taking this horse by the reins, making the redcoats redder than the bloodstains" Lafayette muttered to himself.

"Lafayette" Hercules whispered.

"I love you" Lafayette said to Hercules.

Hercules gasped.

"I love you, too" Hercules said, kissing Lafayette on the cheek.

Lafayette gasped. He then kissed Hercules back. The two men hugged.

"So...want to go out tonight?" Hercules asked Lafayette.

"Sure" Lafayette replied, smiling.

The two men kissed again. Let me tell you what happened. During his appointment, the dentist accidentally made a horrible cut in Lafayette's mouth, so he had to get stitches, hence the laughing gas situation.

Yes, the two men did go on their date, and they dated for another 2 years before they moved to Paris together.
