It was normal day, as always Helga hidden in the shadows, watching her beloved Arnold as his emerald eyes lit up as he chatted away with Lila. She sighed and took out her locket, holding it closely to her heart.

Helga closed her eyes and image of recent events occurred that led her to the park. As usual, she was walking home alone from school and entered her house where she found her Miriam sleeping on the couch and Bob sitting on his sofa, yelling at the TV. All was well, as well as it could be till Olga had shown up. Olga entered the house and Bob awoke from his trance from the TV and Miriam immediately woke up. They crowded around Olga like cats cornering a mouse and Olga chatted away about her adventures and her new boyfriend. On the top of the stairs, Helga sat alone,forgotten. Unable to stand it any longer, she sneaked out the house before, anyone noticed her. On her way, she saw Arnold and followed him to the park. She watched Him meet Lila and talk to her, smiling the whole time.

Tears fell down her cheeks. Helga's hand came and slowly wiped them away. She peered through the bush to catch Lila pecking Arnold on the cheek and he blushes. Helga growls and clenched her fists. To her horror, Arnold turns her way as Lila walks off. Helga's eyes widened and she tried to run away but A soft voice stopped her "Helga? Is that you?"

Helga manages to mutter. Arnold smiles at her and holds her tighter. "It's all right Helga, I'm here to rescue you." Helga's eyes soften and she grins happily. Thank you Arnold. Helga thinks as she looks up into his face.
