In all the rare occasions that I see you, you always seem so nervous. And to day was no exception.
Your uneasy smile… Your embarrassed blush… Your gentle demeanor…
It's irritating.
But, I have to admit, I find it rather cute.
It's a good thing that you don't notice me staring at you. After all, I have an image to protect, right?
The infamous child prodigy… All-around asshole… Cold. Distant. Numb and callous as a rock.
Yup, that's me.
And besides, you're too busy looking at a certain Ramen-obsessed idiot to notice anyway.
Don't look too surprised, the whole village knows your little secret.
Well, that is, all except for him.
That makes it a bigger blow to my ego, now that I think about it. The guy can be so oblivious to what's happening around him. Doesn't he know that he has the one thing that I always wanted to have?
Your attention. Your affection. YOU.
And they say I'm the unfeeling one.
Sometimes I find myself wishing that everything was different… that I hadn't made these walls surrounding me… that I can call out your name without so much as flinching.
Yeah, that will be the day.
In the meantime, I'll just stay here and be "myself". I'll glare back every time you look at me with those beautiful white eyes of yours. I'll be a bastard like what everyone says about. I'll be indifferent. And if you're lucky, I might even add an insult or two.
All the while, hoping that you'll see past the ice and that you won't stop reaching out to me.
No matter how many times I push you away.

Yuri-chan's note: At long last, the four POVs are finally done. The next chapter/s will probably contain the story proper. I'll probably post each as a two-shot... or not. It depends on my ability to come up with a good enough plot.
