Hi guys, This is just a story based on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 during the Battle of Hogwarts. I have just changed the story lines slightly. Don't own any of the characters or any of that stuff :) ENJOY! :)

Chapter 1:
Hermione's P.O.V:
There were only 2 things I could think of after me and Ron let Harry go alone into the forest. 1) Why did we let him walk into the arms of death and 2) How on earth were we going to kill Nagini? Nagini was the one that DID the killing, never the other way around. Anyway, that was done. He had his things to do and we had ours. For starters; finding the Snake. Ever since Voldemort had realized we three were finding and destroying horcruxes, he had kept Nagini close by him. It was going to be a near impossible task. But, let's face it, even in the darkest times, when do we ever take that into account?
Ron's P.O.V
We heard this humongous crash. The death eaters had blown the bridge to pieces. We soon found out that the bridge wasn't the only thing that they had destroyed.
Hermione's P.O.V
Walking down the staircases towards the courtyard and on towards the bridge we couldn't help but notice the amount of people that were lying, cold and motionless, on the hard stone floor. Our fellow students. Our fellow Gryffindor's. Our... friends. We saw Ginny and the others coming towards us. Even though there was a battle going on we thought they would have been a bit more enthusiastic about the fact that they had prevented the death eaters from bombarding that side of the castle. None of us realised the price we had to pay. Not even me. Books only get you so far in life.
Ron's P.O.V
Ginny was a mess. She looked as though she had been crying. She had. She came up to us and said one word.
"N...Neville"
