Well, when I finally get around to make a certain FFT fic I'm thinking of, the story begins on the New Years Eve after the final battle. It will then cover one year, up until that New Years. So I was inspired to write a song parody to this one. Just imagine Meliadoul (or whoever you like to hook him up with, this one's flexible enough, as every character betrayed a belief to stand with Ramza) singing this at their camp one night. Big time Ramza/Mel fan right here. And I did beat the game when the day was September 23 (I kept track of ages and dates for my fanfics).
