Hey everybody! this is a oneshot i wrote...obviously. hope you like it.

Alice… it sounded beautiful. It was all she knew—all she remembered in a sea of white and dark. It blinded her, so much, that sometimes she had to repeat it to herself, like a mantra. It was her everything.

There was a time, she knew, where there had been other things. She saw it, sometimes. It came in flashes, a musical laugh mingled with a booming one, jet black hair and shinning hazel eyes, a small dimpled hand, but, she knew that time had passed. It was slipping away from her, bit by bit.

She stared into the darkness around her. It was empty, but full at the same time. It kept her from remembering the hurt. She couldn't recall from what, but it kept it away.

"You know, she loved you" but, she didn't know. And what was love?

"He loved you too" it was an affirmation. Something clouded her vision, A crinkled hazel eye. But, she couldn't remember.

There was so much she couldn't remember, it was there somewhere, she could feel it. It was just out of her reach.

Then, the door opened. The brightness overwhelmed her. It stung her eyes. So, it was day. But what was day? Alice didn't know.

They took her into the room—the one where she left all her life. It stayed imprisoned in these walls but they made her leave. When she came back, they where gone. All her memories, they left.

They put her in the chair and strapped it up. Then, they stuck the cold thing to her head. She felt something in her brain, it mushed it up. It hurt so much but she couldn't scream, she was too tired, too sick.

She saw a last flash of hazel and it left. Alice whimpered. She could deal with the mushing but, there where parts of her—when they left, they left her empty.

They threw her back into the dark. But know, the flashes didn't come, they didn't save her. Her world was blank. "Alice", she repeated to herself.

But who was Alice? What was Alice?

She didn't know
