WARNING: This story is under some serious construction after a big plot change and a long hiatus. I will post an all clear sign once said changes have been completed, but for now, DO NOT READ. It won't make any sense.
Those of you who already have been reading might note the following changes: The order of events (and chapters) have been changed greatly. Julia, a minor secondary character, has been removed. Also, some chapters have been compressed or combined with other chapters. Some of the Renard/Loki and Renard/Gabe interactions have been altered for the purposes of plot or realism. One of the largest changes is that Loki's thwarted escape attempt has neither taken place nor as of yet been detected. Without going into details, this change is meant to further the plot later on. Also, some references to The Winter Soldier, Thor the Dark World, and Age of Ultron have been added. These references should be unobtrusive. This fic adheres to the marvel universe up to Thor, the Dark World, at which point it becomes AU. The avengers will be involved more later on.
