The Picture

It was of strange account to Kenji on why Hisao concerned him one day in the upper halls of Yamaku Academy. It was regarding the rather poorly drawn painting of a man's façade within the style of modern abstract pretensions. What was queer to Kenji was that Hisao has been in the school for quite some time, and raised questions on why he had raise the inquiry just now. The only thing that he could tell Hisao was the queer name befitting of that queer painting, Rainbow Wizard, for he know not who painted it, the reason it was painted, and why it was brought there. Disheartened, Hisao though, accepted his answer as Kenji left. However, in his heart laid a beat of unsettled drums, for he did not say the reason why he asked the strange question in the first place, that when he gazed upon the painting, it gazed back.
