"Thank You"

This is after Naruto fights Pain. Constructive Criticism Wanted.

"(Thought)"

Naruto was walking around the ravaged city thinking about a certain someone by the name of Hinata. "(I should thank her)"He thought. But just the thought of being close to her made his heart start pounding. Maybe it's what happened when he was fighting Pain.

He thought that Pain had killed her. She had come to protect him and said that it was on her own free will she said that the reason she had come to protect him because she loved him and then she attacked him and ended up losing. She in essence had saved his life because after he thought Pain had killed her he got angry and transformed into fox mode six tails instantly. "(Maybe I'll take her to the cliff.)"

He suddenly stopped walking when he noticed that he was at the tent that Hinata was staying at. Immediately his heart started pounding. He took a deep breath and went inside the tent.

Hinata heard him come in "who is it?" she asked in a soft voice. "It's me." He said she immediately turned around. "Ohh h...hi N...naruto." she said. "Hi" He said. "What's wrong Narut..?!" he suddenly cut her off by pulling her into a hug. "Whaa..." she said "Hinata I came here to thank for saving me from Pain."

He said with a slight blush remembering what she had told him before. Taking her hand he said "Come on I want to show you something. After hiking for a couple of minutes she asked "Where are we going Naruto?" "That is for me to know and for you to find out." He said chuckling a bit.

Finally after twenty minutes of hiking they got to their destination. A cliff overlooking the whole village. When Hinata saw it she gasped at the sight before her. "It's beautiful" she said. "Yea." he said "It used to be more beautiful before pain."

He said with a bit of resentment in his voice not much but it was there. Hinata turned her attention back to the village seeing people working through the rubble looking for remains of items like scrolls and such. Suddenly she realized something else.

Naruto was still holding her hand her cheeks flared red again. He noticed and he wrapped his arms around her waist and before she could react he closed the gap between their lips. "(Ohh my god Naruto is actually kissing me)"She thought. Then instinctively she wrapped her arms around his neck. Then she felt him lick her lower lip lightly without thinking she parted her lips and Naruto's tongue plunged into her mouth wrapping it around hers and she was enjoying it completely.

They had to breathe but they didn't care. Eventually they broke the kiss due to the lack of oxygen. Then he wrapped his arms around her again and whispered into her ear "I love you too."

There done I know crappy title.
