Actually, I wrote these words. And depending on when you're reading this, it could have been hours, days, months, even years ago I first came up with them. It's almost like I'm sending you a telepathic message…after all, I never spoke these words. They're being sent from my brain into yours. Pretty cool, right?
Anyway, getting down to business—you clicked on this "story" for a reason. Something brought you here. Maybe you were browsing stories and this title caught your eye. Maybe someone recommended it to you, and you just had to see what it was. For whatever reason, you decided to click that title button, and here we are, chatting. No, not chatting. If that were the case, it would be more of a one way conversation...
…So, getting back to the reason of why you're here. You were curious. You thought, ''The Doctor has a message for me? Well, I HAVE to see what it is!'' Ah, you humans. I love it when you do things like that.
But you see, I can't just blurt the message out. It has to be delivered at the right time. I have to build up the suspense. Sounds fun, doesn't it? Maybe even…impossible? After all, these words have already been said long ago, as I've told you. But you've seen me conquer the impossible. You're excited now, aren't you? Ah, yes, good! That's what I want. Now I know I have your attention.
So back to the message…oh, wait, no. Not the message. First we have to clear something up. Just between you and I. I'm not usually good at addressing these kinds of things subtly, so I'm just going to be upfront and say it: Something's bothering you. Don't lie to me, you know I'm right.
I can't say for sure I know what it is. I'm not a mind reader! But you know what it is. And I know you know what it is. Maybe it stems from something recent. Maybe it's something that happened a long time ago that you've buried away somewhere. And believe me, I know what that's like to bury something away for so long ago that you forget. Well, almost forget.
Now, I don't want you to worry. There's always going to be things in life that get your fez in a tizzy or your bowtie turned upside down. Take it from me. The important thing is that you never give up. You never give in. No matter how dark it seems, you keep going.
C'mon, don't doubt yourself. I know you can do this. You're strong. If you weren't strong, you wouldn't be where you are now. Really, think about it.
