Hello, it's Moira here. )
Well, I wrote this for school for homework and I just saw it again today, and I thought it sort of fits with Twilight. Like, the setting could be the meadow. Bella died, btw. ( I'm sorry, I don't want her to be dead either…but hey, it adds to the drama. Here you go. Edwards POV:
What is nature? I thought,
As I lie there, perfectly still,
Watching the sun sink into the earth,
Its radiating light resembling a fire,
Melting into a candle.
Hmm…
The sun's reflection in the ocean,
Glistening with shades of every color,
An invitation, waiting out in the open,
To carry me away to a land of dreams.
If only I could dream…
Instead, I close my eyes, feeling the world around me,
Its beauty, mysteriousness, and warmth…
All of which are different notes coming together,
Forming a song of pure harmony,
Creating my love and my life.
Bella, I'll always love you.
My eyes whip open to a sound,
Whispers carried away by the wind.
The moon is shining now,
Stars surround it like a pool of diamonds.
Maybe she's watching over me…
The air feels misty and wet,
The trees are camouflaged in the shadows,
But the leaves around me are not,
They are a splatter of color in the darkness.
I'm sorry my sweet, sweet Bella…
I hear the silent hum of the night,
The song that is sung by the trees.
I start to hum along with it.
It doesn't matter, I thought,
The beauty of it is all that matters.
Bella, you are the beauty of nature.
There you go. I hope you liked it. R&R please! D
