"You need to work it more if we are going to be a couple"
Tina Cohen Chang stood in front of the mirror thinking about all the hurtful things Artie had ever said to her. Sure he apologized soon after but she knew well enough he didn't mean it. She heard a knock on the door and in waked her flustered and heavily pregnant mother. "Tina dear, your going to have to walk to school today, your father has once again made me late for me birthing class, I'm so sorry". Tina smiled at the woman who brought her into this world."Its okay mom really... I need the exercise" breathed Tina. So Tina grabbed her back pack and made her way out the door heading for school. On the way to school Tina thought about the man who had recently come into her life. This man being ,the one and only Mike Chang who had always been a bystander in her life. The past month at Asian camp had been amazing. She smiled as she remembered the passionate kiss they shared that day. Sure, of course having all those kids snapping photos of them on their phones had been awkward. But at that moment nothing else in the world mattered, it was just her and mike. They say that your first kiss is supposed to be full of fireworks and shooting stars. But kissing Artie wasn't like that, kissing Artie wasn't really anything special it was … nice in a way, it felt safe. But when she kissed mike not only did she see fire works and shooting stars , she saw , she saw dancing moonbeams , and as strange as it may seem a shift in the universe , everything that was wrong in her life suddenly felt better. Her heart was whole. Don't get her wrong, its not like she hated Artie , but the past couple of months all he had been willing to do is play halo and watch "coming home". There was only so much of "a classic American film" that Tina could take.
A couple of hours later there she was in the cafeteria line with a distraught Artie wheeling behind her. "You ignored me for weeks this summer" . Uttered Tina . "I was playing a marathon game of Halo, woman." replied Artie. Tina looked Artie in the eyes and for the first time in a long time she saw that Artie really did want her. She shook her head and stormed out of the cafeteria the eyes of every one at the glee table following her. Running towards the bathroom tears rolling down her eyes a feeling of guilt consumed her. How could she have been so cruel to Artie?, yes it was true that he had been horrible to her , but she had assumed he didn't want her any more , was breaking up with Artie a mistake?.
