A king's final command
Simple yet holds meaning
Like no other can.

Remember this war,
The very foundation
And who it was for.

Shackles loom
Like the clouds of a storm
To the Hot Gate the brave march
With shield and with sword.

Battle cries float
To the heavens above
Spears fly to defend honor
And the land that they love.

Rivers of blood flow
Like tears on a cheek
By the end they will show
Even a god king can bleed.

Their lives the men gave
For the good that they sought
Their courage everlasting
And battle still fought.

The repercussions still ring
