Always
Lying in the field has been a daily routine for them ever since they started dating.
Both waking up at the crack of dawn every Saturday, holding each others hands, and walking to that magical spot.
Then they sit down, eventually lay down, and watch the sun rise.
And then, like always, she would get up, go home fix a picnic basket, with pancakes, waffles, eggs, and toast.
(All of the breakfast material.)
And walk back to the field.
When she got there she would set everything up and lightly, almost as quiet as a whisper, say his name.
"Sasuke-kun"
And he would wake up from his little nap, sit up straight and also say her name.
"Sakura."
Then they would eat.
And when everything was finished she would clean up, and lie back down.
And he would to.
After a few minutes he, would get up grab the basket, and tell her
"Sakura, time to go."
Of course she would protest saying
"It's to beautiful to leave, one more minute."
And he would think, 'no, Sakura your to beautiful to have, let me have one more minute to enjoy you.'
But then, like always, he stops himself and says
"Sakura, there's always next week."
When really he's thinking, 'there's always the next day, and the next day, and the next. She is always going to be by me.'
And just to reassure himself he asks
"Sakura, you'll always stay with me right?"
And like always, she says
"Of course, Sasuke-kun, I love you."
So he says
"Good, I love you too."
Then she gets up, grabs the hand that isn't holding the basket, and starts walking.
With him by her side.
With her by his side.
Always.
PLEASE RESPONDThis story is based off a picture I saw with Sasuke and Sakura. Sasuke was lying in the grass and Sakura was looking at him.
