The Night I Died
by: Et-chan
This poem is dedicated to my sister who is obsessed with Seta Soujiro.
The night I died,
Was a stormy night.
Little did I know,
A tragedy would take flight.
The night I died,
My body was tainted with scars.
I roamed in my cell,
Restrained by wooden bars.
The night I died,
My family called me.
They struck me down,
And I set my fury free.
The night I died,
Blood painted the ground.
A smile lit my face,
Because death was all around.
The night I died,
I hid behind my smile.
I let go of other emotions,
Though it hurt all awhile.
The night I died,
I never felt so alive.
I knew that the weak die,
And the strong survive.
If his words are true,
That the strong protect the weak,
Where was my savior?
Why didn't he protect me?
(Author's Note: Obviously, Soujiro did not die that night. The title was meant to be a metaphor for something you should figure out yourself :D )
