They say death isn't terrible, but instead terribly good at his job.
"I still think that this is a bad idea." I stared at my friend with concern. Levy had come up with some over the top ideas during these past few weeks, but this was a new level of insanity. "Who could say no to a creepy Halloween date?" She asked. "A BLIND date, Levy. A BLIND Halloween date." I sighed. I knew that Levy would pout and I would be putty in her hands. "If anything goes wrong just use that creepy healing ability of yours." Levy was of course referring to my Biolock ability. Save anyone's life at the expense of a year off your own. "Are you crazy? A. This could be the last year of my life B. It would only work for someone else." I explained. "Don't be a buzz kill, Lucy. Have fun!" Levy pushed me out the door and into the snow. "Levy, it's freezing!" I yelled. My outfit was soaked, but Levy wasn't budging.
I walked for miles and eventually made it to the city park. All of the businesses were closed at this hour, so I sat on the ice cold bench and waited for the storm to pass. I wasn't there for long when I felt something tug on my shirt. It was a little girl... she kind of looked like me. "Mommy, are you going to be okay?" She asked. "I'm not your mom, Kid, but I'll help you find her." You took her hand. When you reached the gates of the park, the girl spoke again. "Michelle and I think Mommy is sick." I stopped in my tracks and stared at the kid. "Get away from me.." I whispered. She looked at me confused. 'What is she?' I thought. I was standing in the middle of the street now. "Lucy.." Someone behind me whispered. I stopped once again. The figure walked around me. "Who are you?" I asked. This man... this ghost... only a silhouette could be seen. "I forgive you." He said. "Natsu..?" Natsu and my younger self disappeared, but in the corners of my vision was a blinding light. I was too shocked to move. The car hit me head on and it wasn't long before I couldn't feel anything anymore.
'My childhood bedroom?' I wondered. The paint was the same, Michele was in the same place, and... Levy was here? When I tried to call out to her, I discovered that I couldn't talk. "Morning!" She exclaimed. I was stuck with no chance of being able to move. "As your friend, I'll be honest. You've died, but as Biolock gives your loved ones a second chance, you've earned yours. Live your past, right these wrongs, and you'll live. If not, this will all end. Enjoy your past, Lulu." Levy vanished and I could finally move.
