Gou had always been a bit cautious when it came to the water, and after her own father was gone because of it, she swore an oath to never let anyone else in her family follow him.

Then she found out Rin was going to Australia to swim.

Big red eyes were filled with tears as she sat in the suitcase on her brother's bed, while he was trying to convince their mother that she haas lost her mind.

The Matsuoka mother dismissed her son's worried calls as overreacting, and let him deal with the crying mess that was the 9-year old Gou.

The redhead sighed and rubbed his cheek, where He had bitten himself an hour or so ago ( a sign he was developing the shark teeth his mother proudly bared to scare him into behaving) as he tried to one again get Gou out of the suitcase. Her hands were like glued to the object, her wails grew even louder, making Rin have to cover his ears.

" Gou, just get out! I need to pack, I'm leaving in three days!" He sighed, seeing as the small demand didn't make her move an inch out.

"You'll be meeting water over there. You can't do that!' She shouted at him, her tears making it hard to even see in front of her. Rin sighed once again at the nuisance he was related with.

" there's nothing wrong with water, now get out!" The young boy almost screamed at her, making her whimper, but obediently crawl out. He sighed as he lead her out of his room, and to stand outside so he could be alone to take everything he needed.

Outside, Gou sobbed still, until their mother came and took her away from the door. The woman put her in a chair in front of some crayons and paper, and just left her there.

Later, Rin got out of the bedroom, and as he was heading down, saw a mess of about 12 papers scattered around a sleeping Gou. The papers were all scribbled on, but he could make out pictures of himself, with a sad face, in water. Gou had messily written " don't go, or you'll be taken by whoever took dad".

Rin saved those drawings and while in Australia, he tried as much as he could to make sure her fears never came real.
