A/N: la la la la la la la la. It's One-Shot time! This is totally random and has no real point behind it. Just plain fluffiness.

How come nothing in life ever goes quite the way you plan it? Have you ever noticed that little fact? It's like one minute stuff can be fine and the next it all disappears down the toilet. Not literally. It's just something my mom used to say when she saw my report card. But I think I finally understand what she was going on about. About life not the toilet. I've never really understood that one.

Nothing ever works out the way you want it to.

Take love for example: one day it can be going great. The next day it'll screw you over like it never happened.

Luckily, I've never been through that little dilemma. Well I have I guess. But it ended happily ever after. Like one of those fairy tales you read about.

Except in a fairy tale the heroine doesn't usually end up falling in love with the previous occupant of her bedroom. Oh no. Instead she gets a kingdom and a freakin' magic wand.

Do you hear me complaining though? Of course not.

Because I have Jesse and he has…….well he's stuck with me. And no fairy tale ending could ever be better than what I found out today. Ever.

"Jesse, I kind of have to tell you something." I whispered softly.

Okay, so admit my timing isn't exactly perfect. We're in the middle of Doc's wedding. But I couldn't hold it in any longer. Partly because I was so excited that I wanted to explode. Again, not literally. That would just be painful and unnecessary.

Besides, it was pretty much the end of the ceremony anyway. Sharon was already looking ready to faint at the prospect of being married to my little step-bro 'Dave'. I remember when Jesse and I got married. It was Father D that looked ready to faint then however.

"Are you feeling ill again?" he asked equally as quietly. I grimaced. That was the down-side of the news I was about to tell him. Being sick. It was pretty unforgiving when I got tired.

"No. I'm fine." I replied as calmly as I could. I was trying to think of the best way to word it.

"Is that what the doctor told you or what you told the doctor?" he asked sounding amused. I ignored the jibe and elbowed him in the ribs. He grinned.

"What would you say if I said we needed a bigger apartment?" I asked innocently. He looked confused for a minute. I rolled my eyes. Men.

"I'd say 'why?'" he replied curiously. I couldn't believe that he hadn't twigged it yet. It seemed pretty darn obvious to me. I was laying out the clues pretty blatantly. Even my mom guessed it earlier.

I took a deep breath.

"Because I'm pregnant."

I almost burst out laughing when I saw his reaction. But seeing as we were in the middle of a church it wouldn't have really been dignified. So I settled for grinning.

"What do you have to say to that?" I asked calmly.

"I agree."

"Agree about what?" I grinned as he took my hand.

"We need a bigger apartment."
