I was thinking of doing a multi chapter fic but, naaah. Lol, so I did a one shot drabble instead. Didn't intend for it to be sad.
Disclaimer: I do not own Vocaloids.
Len had Kaito in his memories as long as he could remember. It felt as if the two knew each other from day one. Of course, this was not true. Kaito was just Rin and his babysitter. He probably only took the job as an easy way to earn cash.
But, it did not stop the connection that the two twins gained with Kaito. Standing at a height of five foot two and only being fourteen years old, Len could finally identify the fluttery feeling or the blush on his cheeks he got whenever Kaito talked to him or stood too close for comfort.
It was only a crush, or so his twin told him. She said it was going to go away in time, but what if it did not?
True he was hurt whenever he saw Kaito with other girls. It hurt even more when he saw them flirting or sometimes even kissing but, it did not get in his way of having a crush on the man.
If he had to name an irritating fact about the other, Len would immediately say that he hated how much Kaito parties because it was always his job to take back the drunken man to his house. If questioned why he did it, he would say because Kaito asked him to. Though, one would see that was a clear lie.
That is why he was standing at a random stranger's door. Not even bothering to knock, he learned from previous experiences that no one cared who came in, he entered the foreign house. Usually, he would see Kaito wasted and talking with a silly grin on his face, he would get so close to Len that the younger boy could spell the rotten alcohol on Kaito's breath.
This time though, Kaito was up against a wall, passed out.
Well, this is knew, Len thought as he walked over to Kaito.
He looked nervously at the man and the thought of kissing him soon quickly spread through his mind.
And so, the inner turmoil began. Should he go and kiss him, with the risk of Kaito waking up in the awkward situation. But, he would finally be able to kiss him. Though on the other hand, he would know he did the right thing and not take advantage of the person he looked up to.
Kissing him was much too tempting to pass up for Len. With his heart beating a ten thousand times per minute and his face fully adorned with a red blush, he kneeled down on his knees and moved in for his goal.
Once the two separate lips met each other, Len did not think he would ever want to separate them; Kaito's lips were warm and soft, just as he imagined them to be.
As much as he wished that this moment would last forever, his chest could not handle the pressure his heart was giving out. With a slow break of the kiss, Len's head sank into the crook of Kaito's neck. He breathed heavily as his hands gripped on Kaito's shirt. He did not know whether he wished Kaito was awake to experience this or not.
He almost jumped out of his skin when he felt arms snake around his waist and tug him in, closer to Kaito's chest.
There was a slight murmur from the man as he positioned his head upon Len's.
Len could feel his heart drop into his stomach, Kaito just confused him for some girl he was dating. He was hurt… again. But, being so close to his crush felt as if he was supporting Len and Len could do nothing to stop the tears from slipping his eyes.
"Kaito… Kaito… Wake up…" He said quietly and was sure that the other did not hear his calls. Slowly, Len wrapped his arms around Kaito's torso and cried into his chest.
