Every day, Yuui wished he could just turn back time. He wanted to save Fai, to answer that question of Fei Wong Reed's unselfishly and give Fai the freedom he deserved.
But this world wasn't perfect, and that wish would never be granted. Instead, Yuui lived his life, hoping for the chance to regain his brother. But no matter how hard he tried, he would never be able to regain the lost time.
The hope was diminishing, because of them. The children, and Kurogane. They made Yuui want to live, to stay alive. They made him feel like it was never too late to save himself from the darkness.
And he hated them for it.
