She opened her eyes and stared into the gloom. Her head ached and her jaw felt funny. As her eyes adjusted to the dark she realised she was in some kind of cellar. She did not like the idea of being in a cellar so tried to sit up. She realised something was wrong immediately. She could not move her hands. They where tied. She tried to scream, but all she could muster was a muffled yelp. She had been gagged. But why??? Who would want her bound and gagged??? What had she done??? Why was she here??? She could not remember what had happened!!! How had she got here???
All the concentration had made her head hurt even more. She had to escape. But How. She struggled trying to release the bonds that held her down. It was no use, she was well and truly stuck.
She must have drifted of to sleep because next thing she new she was awoken by a loud bang. Light flooded the cellar. Her eyes could not adjust quick enough. She heard the sound of a pully. A bucket landed next to her. It had water and soap in it. And a note!!! She sat bewildered and before she had time to gather her thoughts the trap door above shut.
So whoever had her wanted to take sort of good care of her!!! Right??? She pulled the water towards her and dipped her hands in it. Arrrr, the water was freezing and the soap, was actually frozen in ice. Nice!!!
