Flaming ice.
That would be the most effective description. If you could set ice on fire, that is how it would look.
But that's just on the outside.
If you look closer, it is not ice that has been lit, but fire which is frozen.
Nothing is capable of melting that frost, people would say. The eyes containing that inferno have trapped it within. It is forever imprisoned inside the scarlet depths.
But I have seen the inner spirit blaze with a passion unknown to all. When the firebird emerged.
It was then that I chose to try, attempt to set that spirit free.
Many would call it a foolish decision, yet I never regretted it.
For my efforts were not in vain.
True, in the end, my goal was not completed. Yet what I achieved, I was content with it.
For others, the flames remained frozen. But for me, the ice melted to let the fire burn.
Only one of the privileges I received from the owner of those eyes. Only one of my rewards.
The one I cherish most.

Most people couldn't, so as a repost I'll tell you it's Ray (Tyson's too stupid, no offense to his fans, and Tala was a possibility, but Ray's been around Kai the longest).
'The owner of those eyes' is painfully obvious.
At first glance, weird, second time round, confusing. Which do you think it is? Flaming ice? Or frozen fire?
