A/N: This is a poem written from Macavity's POV about Demeter and how he plans to ingratiate her. Also about his plans for their future together.

I watch her lying beneath the tree;
Her tail flicking absentmindedly.
I peer through the twig and leaves,
At the cat who cannot see,
That in the distance I sit here;
Strategic like a thief.
I wait for the moment with patience;
For the moment I shall strike.
To abduct the one that I adore,
And bring her into my life.
There is no other that I have found,
To express such poise and grace.
With fur as pure as ebony,
And a radiant golden face.
She has no options to choose from.
The decision has been made.
She must stand beside me,
And love me just the same.
She will be immutably loyal;
Never once to fail me.
But should she disobey my orders,
Then she will experience my wrath . . . violently.
The time will come when I will gaze,
Into those chartreuse eyes of hers,
And supply her with an offer,
She will find futile to refuse –
A chance to be my partner;
The sugar in my tea.
I'll sweep her off her paws,
When she agrees to be my queen . . .
We will form a troop of warriors;
The strongest we can find.
For when we ambush the Jellicles,
They will have no choice but to step aside.
A/N: So, this was something that I thought of while going to sleep last night. I struggled a bit while putting it together so let me know what you think of it. =)
