Author's Notes: These particular haiku came to mind when going back and reviewing the events of the first Ratchet & Clank game. I wanted to create a "story" haiku, that when read has the effect of a short story, sometimes told in first- or third-person. The titles above each are merely there to either connect (or separate) each idea or event. Hero's Tale

well-known Veldin,
Ratchet,
born a mechanic:
Becomes
its savior.
Ignition System
From
space to Veldin,
There,
a robot had fallen,
He
called himself Clank.
Omniwrench, With Love
Together,
they beat
Enemies
and creepy beasts
Throughout
Solona.
No More Glory
Captain
Qwark was next,
The
galaxy's number one,
Later
turned zero.
Executive Ruler
But
evil still thrived,
There
was supreme chairman Drek:
Ambitious
evil.
One-Hit Wonder
With
devastator,
Drek's
scheme was foiled for good,
All
eyes smiled that day.
A New Adventure Awaits
Beckoned
once again,
Ratchet
was teleported--
Discovered
Bogon.
