If you were given the chance to make your dream come true would you take it? No matter what the cost happened to be, willing to lose everything you once had. What you once knew.
If you were to ask someone they'd most likely agree to throw it all away and chase the dream. But once faced with the opportunity and looking at the pros and cons, It wasn't worth the risk, wasn't worth everything they have now.
When we're young we get taught that if we chase our dreams and work hard enough that we can reach that goal, that dream. No dream is too big after all. Yet when we mature our dreams get ripped away from us, get told they're silly and unreal. We are expected to give up and move on, become what society has labelled us to be. Dreams are a fantasy, fantasy can never be reality.
Even so some of us still believe and for that we are outcast, rejected by the world. Yet we still grip onto that dream, Fists clamped tight.
You see I am one of those believers, an introvert with the friend count of zero. Not just that though, I happen to be what you call an otaku. Now if I wasn't already a loner I am now. Guess my scores doubled huh? Well enough with my self-loathing, we should really be moving on.
A few days ago I was approached by one of the college students. You see the top college in the area had a spare building on campus which was renovated into a high school, though your grades had to be over average to be accepted. I'd seen him around a few times, of course I was still weary since I'm only 15 and you don't really know with some people, I could end up drugged in the back of a van. I'm not quick to label people so I decided to find out what some smart looking college student wanted from me.
Thinking back I really should have just kept walking, maybe I should have ignored that bright smile drawing me in. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Turns out this guy was all kinds of crazy yet I found myself trusting him, him and his crazy plan.
