Lily's first serious boyfriend cheated on her with two other girls for months.
Hi Mum and Dad,
James here. Just writing to keep you updated on all our Hogwarts madness. Al is still hanging round with Malfoy but after several years of observation I have determined that he is not a bad guy. He is acceptable at the moment but if he gets any closer to Rosie I might have to downgrade him. All of the cousins are doing fine. Freddie might potentially have a girlfriend although I think that for at least one week every year since third so I could be wrong. It might interest you to know that Minnie hasn't given us detention in approximately one week and two days now - she reckons it's a new record and that maybe we're "finally following school rules, Mr Potter". I reckon she's going soft in her old age.
Anyway, the real reason I'm writing to you is because of Lily. You may recall that Lils had a summer boyfriend by the name of Matt McLaggen - he did not pass the James Potter Acceptability Test when first met, however any boy in close proximity to young Lilith unless a direct relation/a Longbottom/a Scamander is always deemed to be a current threat. Well, Lily walked in on him in a broom closet with this complete slag (sorry mum but it's the least offensive word that comes to mind) and was completely heartbroken about it. It took Rosie, Rox, Dom, and Luce two whole days to convince her it would be okay and in the meantime me and the boys took care of the little … tick.
That's actually why I'm writing, just to inform you that my school career may be in jeopardy once Minnie discovers what happened to the … tick. Dad, it will please you to know that there was a lot of hurt involved from all Weasley-Potter clan and even Eoghan Finnegan the pyromaniac was convinced (AKA paid by me) to get involved.
So in the end Lily's okay now thanks to her amazing family but I could potentially be facing expulsion for the 57th time.
