Author's note: This is the first time i ever did a fanfiction from a Japenese show so sorry if i mispell some of the digimon's names! Plus tell me what you think of this chapter! plz?:) Even if you think its horrible; tell me so i can fix it or take it down:)
Why do people forget us?
We are the forgotten digidestined. This is in a universe where everyone ignores what Tai, Mimi, Joe, Sora, matt, and Izzy did. Plus their partners Agumon, Palmon, Biyomon, Gabumon, Gomamon, Tentomon. There are times when Kari and Tk will remember, but then they forget just like everyone else. Everyone forgets that the original digidestined was more powerful than the 2nd. The first had to face more trials and dangers then the 2nd ever did. But there's a reason although no one's going to like it.
This is the beginning of the story of the forgotten.
It all started when they found the eggs. The digi eggs or maybe it was when Ken first became Emperor that it really started, but we'll start with the eggs. Tai had tried to lift the digi egg of courage, which made sense seeing as he had the crest of courage. But Tai couldn't lift it; Davis could. This was when Tai slowly started to fade from the digital world and the real world.
People didn't notice him. Sometimes his own parents didn't even recognize him. He would be talking to his mom or dad and suddenly they would say, "Who are you?" Then their expression would clear and then they would say something simple like, "That's great Tai." Then continue on doing whatever they were doing before.
The same happened with the other 5. As soon as the new digidestined got their eggs the old ones seemed to fade a little more each day from the lives they lead in the real world. Their other friends outside of the digi destined stopped remembering who they were and then Kari and TK started forgetting who they were and what they had done together.
Sora and Tai had called Matt, Joe, Izzy, and even Mimi to set up a meeting. She had come back from America seeing as half the time her parents forget who she was and kept on wondering why a stranger was in the house. One by one each of them showed up in the park. Tai and Sora were standing together staring at the ground; clutching each other's hands. Mimi was digging through her purse while quietly to Izzy who was working on his trusty laptop, and Matt was writing a new song, but the night seemed too still until the final person got there, Joe.
"Ready to find some answers?" Joe said loudly.
