Once again, so sorry for not making a Christmas Fanfic!
Lucy sighed as she placed her mug of hot chocolate on the table. The sun was setting, it was Christmas Eve, and she still hadn't decorated her tree.
"Time to get work done, Lucy," she told herself, opening the box of ornaments she had left next to the small pine tree earlier. She pulled out a cardboard box. Seeing it had her named written on the front, she opened it, and pushed aside the bubble wrap that protected whatever was inside. When the ornament was out of the box, her face turned scarlet.
It was an ornament in the shape of a heart, with four letters that seemed to make her heart go faster. 'Na' in pink, and 'Lu' in yellow. On the back, "From Natsu" was written in letters with alternating colors of pink and yellow.
Remembering she hadn't bought him a present, she grabbed her purse, slipped on her shoes, and burst outside into the cool, winter day.
"Decorating the tree's gonna have to wait," she said aloud.
Butterflies flew around her stomach as she drove, unable to stop thinking about the ornament.
