Chapter one

As I was cycling home from a friend, quite lonely on my own, I saw this pitch black cat. The funny thing about this cat were it's eyes. Although my front light shone on them as it looked intently at me, I couldn't see them. A shudder went through me and although it was way past bedtime, I was suddenly wide awake. That cat had startled me out of my sleepyness.

The cat had crossed the street. It was now looking at something in the sky. I looked up, searching for what it'd been looking at. When my eyes went back to where that pitch black cat had been standing, it had disappeared.

Never, ever, walk through these woods if you want to come out in one piece. There are several rumours about those woods, some more horrendous than others. I'd never been there, not even in daylight. So it's even better if you'd left it well alone after midnight. I honestly didn't go into those woods; I just looked my eyes out when I cycled past one of the few paths that were it's entrance. On a bench, there was a blonde guy sitting, obviously waiting from someone as he was looking at his watch. A bicycle, not unlike mine, stood beside him, on it's standard. The reason I could see him in the dark was because he had whiter-than-white jeans on, with a light blue shirt. I guess the guy waws waiting on a date or something.

Nothing really suspicious happened on the way home – just that cat and the guy. I can't seem to get those two out of my head. Why, though? What's so special about a black cat or a blonde guy? It's not as if I've never seen either of them. Maybe I'm just thinking things up – after all, it's after midnight and I'm quite tired. I'd bet my money on the fact that it'd probably be light again in a few hours.

He was sure that if he hadn't written this down before falling asleep, he'd forgotten it all.

Sorry it's short. Please review. I'd like to go on with this story, but it's hard without comments.
