Link in Wonderland
Chapter 1: Follow the Bloody Roses
Once upon a time there was a man, and his name was Link. He was very heroic and smited many foes. He lived in the kingdom of Hyrule. The ruler of this kingdom was Zelda, and she was beautiful, strong, brave, and a noble princess. This heroic Link had a horse named Epona, and she was a noble steed, and they went on many great quests together.
One day he went out, such as any normal day, and did as he always did, he feed and herded the goats he also played with the children of the village. He was on his way home after a long days of hard work there by his door sat a chest. "Hmm?" Link said as he noticed the chest. As he opened his door to pull inside the chest. The chest itself made an unusual sound, and so Link pulled it inside, and as he walked around it in circles the chest made another sound. "Well, I guess I'll have to open it to see what's inside it," he said to himself then he grabbed the edge of the chest and lifted it.
As he lifted the lid, a strange blue light flowed out of the chest and with it, the sound he was hearing. Link fell back onto the floor as a little blue fairy came flying out.
"YAY! I'm free! Thank you," said the fairy as Link stood up and stared at the fairy.
"Wh-Who are you?" he asked. The little fairy flew close to him.
"I'm Navi, it's nice to meet you," she said. "I'm Link, it's nice to meet you too." Navi flew around the room, scanning through her surroundings.
"I'm here to help you save Princess Zelda," she said.
Linked looked up at her, and his eyes widened as his body shook violently.
"W-What..?" he asked.
"She has gone missing Link, and I'm very worried about her," Navi said. "You must find her Link, and save her from the great evil that has taken her!" Link stood and went into the other room to fetch his green tunic. When he returned to the room where Navi was, his sword and shield were out and ready. He picked each of them up, sheathed his sword, and put his shield on his back.
When they left Link's house, he asked Navi where to go. She flew around his head.
"Hmm, why don't you asked that rabbit?" He turned his head to see what she was talking about. The rabbit held a monstrously large pocket watch, and was dressed up in a suit. It looked as if the rabbit needed to be somewhere, and fast. Then the rabbit saw Link. It's eyes looked as if they were dinner plates and he took off. Link ran after the rabbit.
Link tried to skid to a stop next to the tree, but a root sticking out of the ground had tripped him and sent him tumbling into a hole. As he fell into the hole, he saw a slice of fabric from Zelda's dress, which caused him to be very, very angry.
