The Last Letters of Milo
Prologue
I, Sylvia who is master of Wood, on the last day of October, did recieve.
A Letter, addressed unto me, that was from the country of Nova Scotia.
And I was suspicious, for there is the Fortress that is called Death, where the followers of the traitor Gareth and Rebecca the deciever make their home.
But still, my Wisdom told me what is, and I opened the letter, for Light protects me, and guides me.
And this was written there:
1
Greetings, it is I, Milo of Water, who was once your friend.
But now I am, you think, an enemy.
I wish to give unto you a warning, which is this:
Rebecca, who I serve, is drawing together her forces.
Soon her power shall exten southward, all of the way to Philadelphia, and to Boston.
She will wreak vengeance upon your heads, and soon.
2
I tell you these things because I fear my coming death.
And hope for protection from the coming scourge.
There is no power greater than that of Rebecca and that of Gareth, but you can help me.
I bear knowledge of the enemy, and I shall give unto you all that I know, if the Darkness of Rebecca can be stopped, and its fury not precipitated upon me.
This I wish, and can do.
May the Light protect you, and bless you with everlasting life, and curse the evil that is Rebecca.
