Ouran High School Host Club does not in anyway belong to me, all original characters belong to Bisco Hatori.
Paparazzi flooded the giant mansion. Reporters and news vans were parked out everywhere. Fans all around where mourning and jumpy to find out what had happened to their favorite actor. Journalists for some popular magazines worried that she had been taken, some say that she had killed herself which worried the fans. Others say that she may had just ran away but of course these were only rumors. No one really knew the real story.
Not even Mrs. Dawson, the guardian and aunt of the female actor that had gone mysteriously missing knew why all of this had happened. You'd think she would be worried but no, she was happy because she was getting attention. The maids had even gossiped on how the mistress looked happy and bright today. But they didn't know how sick and twisted she actually was except for her niece, for she had witnessed it ever since the death of her parents and the separation of her little sister.
"My, my, how beautiful it is today."
The young girl in the room who held a stuffed pink chubby bunny had her eyebrows raised in utter confusion. "Auntie, it's dark and cloudy today." she stated and held the bunny close to lay her chin on top of it's pink stuffed head, her aunt turned, her dark red brown hair flying to rest on her shoulder. She smiled brightly which actually scared the brunette girl to jump in her seat "Is she sick?" the eight year old mumbled low into the stuffed animal "Tricia, auntie is going outside to speak with the people, alright? So I want you in your room with your headphones and with the television off, ok?" Dawson told her with that nickname that she hated. Her aunt fluttered her hazel eyes, tiny little freckles rising up as her aunts cheek rose up into a big smile.
Patricia, which she preferred, nodded and left the what you could call 'Mrs. Dawson's office' and did exactly what she was told.
Mrs. Dawson opened the doors to her home and people from outside of the gates quickly went to action, cameras rolling, recorders and microphones set up and checked and flashes of cameras lighting up everywhere and Mrs. Dawson loved it. But of course she had to play the part of a worried weeping aunt. She being the aunt of an actor picked up a few tricks, quickly putting on a sad façade and forced tears out of her yellow eyes which of course looked very believable. She walked up to the gates, her security opened it up, and many people flooded in, the dark black microphones were practically shoved before her face and flashes made her face light up from all kinds of directions. Questions that were in desperate need of answers were shouted from everywhere.
"Mrs. Dawson do you have any idea why she could have ran away?"
"Have you found her body?"
"What will you do when you have found her kidnappers?"
Raising her hands up to shush the crowd down which they followed she spoke into one of the microphones "Now enough of these horrible rumors. I rather have her be running away than her being dead or being kidnapped because it shows that she is still alive and safe." the crowd of people grew loud again and a female reporter asked "If she did runaway, do you have a reason why she might of done this?" Mrs. Dawson looked at her, fake tears running down her pale face, she noticed that this was no reporter but a journalist. "No, I have no idea. She had a perfect life and a loving family and staff right here at home. She had a nice warm home."
"But didn't you take her sister away from her? Is that what you call a loving family?"
Mrs. Dawson gasped in surprise, but all was just an act. "I only did that because little Patricia was to be taken care of differently. Limara was raised by nurses and doctors and I didn't want Patricia to have to face that and worry about if her older sister would die soon!" Rachael, the journalist narrowed her eyes, the boss wouldn't be to happy about this. "So pulling the sisters apart you isolated the younger one with a happy life while the other was around with doctors and stuck living inside of walls and only doing one thing she loved which was acting?"
Mrs. Dawson had more tears run down her freckled little face and Racheal believed none of it, she took her leave while Mrs. Dawson answered other questions. She jotted notes down in the notebook she carried with her and clicked off her digital recorder. Starting the engine of her car she drove off, her cell phone rung and she quickly put it on speaker.
"Steffen, you gotta lock up tonight."
Groaning she practically yelled "Again? I do have my mission to work on you know?!" the lady on the other side heaved out a sigh "It's not my fault you wanted to check out the mysterious case of the Limara Dawson but I won't blame ya, I mean I even loved that little sweetie." Rachael grabbed her phone and parked in front of the building she worked at deciding to work here instead of her home. "Did you get anything? The boss is getting impatient." Rachael heaved a sigh "Great now he's gonna be on my ass until I get this fixed up. But that Mrs. Dawson is no angel she has everyone wrapped around her little finger." a laugh cracked through the phone and Rachael raised an eyebrow at her friend "Why are you laughing?"
"Because everything you said was just damn stupid! Mrs. Dawson is sweet just like her two little nieces. Just drop this case now girl, Mrs. Dawson probably did all of these things for their own good. Now lock up and head to the bar, my treat!" Rachael grunted and yelled into the phone "She even has you fooled! No ones that nice unless if they're a killer!" her friend laughed hard this time "Rachael do you hear yourself? Her nieces are sweet just like her, do you think they're killers?"
Rachael stood quiet the only sound was the television hanged on the wall that was left turned on, it of course showed a weeping Mrs. Dawson. "Exactly, now hurry up and get over here. I think it's time you should have a break." her friend said and Rachael nodded "Alright Betty I'll be there soon." she hung up and watched the television for a bit longer after finally turning it off and locking the building up, pushing the buttons for the alarm system to be turned on. Stopping in front of the car she thought for a moment "But if Mrs. Dawson did do all of this for their own good, Limara would have stayed knowing this was all for them."
Rain hit the lithe body that sat on the concrete floor, only covered in a thin sweater and gray pants. The poorly clothed stranger was soaked to the bone and as people passed by no one paid any attention, some people had gave in some money but it was usually just some spare change. The black hood that rested on the head of this stranger was wet and so soaked it was sticking to the flattened damp navy blue hair which fell over the strangers face. Forcing to stand up, pale hands curled around two traveling bags, a blue book bag covering over the strangers back.
"Do you need help?"
Looking behind to see a brunette with a black umbrella, the stranger stood quiet as her big chocolate eyes blinked as she stared at the stranger in front of her. "I..uh..do you know where I can find this house?" the stranger asked and took out a picture of the old house that was somewhere here in this place. The girl nodded, she put on the hood of her rain coat and handed the umbrella to the stranger "Take it, and I'll show you where it is."
The girl grabbed a bag and forced the umbrella into the pale hands that were shaking from the cold. She smiled and said it was fine that she could handle it and the stranger nodded. "Haruhi."
Turning to look at the brunette, the stranger looked back down and held the umbrella above the both of them to shield them from the cold rain "Leon." a hum came from the girl and she looked back at the stranger next to her "Why are you even going here? I mean that house has been abandoned for almost eleven years, there's probably rats in there or something." Haruhi said as she stepped in a puddle. Leon looked up, the wet dark bangs falling off to a side showing dark gray shining eyes. "I used to live there when I was little, I'm going back because it's under my possession. Even if it is broken up I will fix it because it means everything to me."
Haruhi smiled and looked up at Leon's dark bright eyes "Are you gonna need any help with that?" Leon blushed and turned, Haruhi was cute even when she wasn't trying to be and Leon gave her points for that. She must have had boys all over her maybe even some girls after all she already had been reeling Leon in. "Only if it's necessary." Haruhi chuckled but it was soon cut off as a loud clap of thunder rumbled above them which to Leon's surprise made Haruhi squeak in fright.
Leon couldn't help but smile, finding it cute. "Come on lets get somewhere dry. I can't have you getting scared and/or sick because of me." now it was Haruhi's turn to blush as she witnessed Leon's innocent sweet smile. "My home isn't too far from here, hopefully dad isn't there to kill you." Haruhi said with a shaky smile which made Leon smile too, Leon couldn't help himself.
They both jogged quickly to Haruhi's home and once they got there another loud rumble of thunder scared Haruhi enough to squeak again, Leon turned to face the railing and brought both arms up, fists thrusting at the air. "Oh almighty Thor! Refrain from your anger and have mercy on us midgardians for we not deserve your powerful and frightening wrath!" Leon yelled and Haruhi, to her surprise Leon's little roar had worked, now it began to rain lighter and the thunder rumbled softly to calm Haruhi down. Facing back to look at Haruhi, Leon grinned "You're welcome! Heh..I can't believe he actually listened." Haruhi smiled and quickly opened the door to her apartment, hulling in one of Leon's bags while the dark bluenette held everything else. "Oh can you ta-!"
"Already done." Leon said covered socked toes wiggling. Haruhi smiled and went to make some tea, Leon looked around and entered what looked like the living room it was small but big enough for Haruhi and her father. Haruhi came back with tea and a towel, setting it down on the kotatsu, Leon sat down with her and dried the wet dark blue hair and they both chatted they talked about Haruhi's school and friends. She had actually made the dark bluenette laugh and Haruhi couldn't help but blush slightly, she had found the sound heavenly in her ears. After awhile Leon had started sneezing and asked if it was alright to take a nice warm shower which of course Haruhi agreed to. After handing a towel and slippers Leon thanked her and quickly took a steamy shower instead of a warm one like Haruhi thought.
Turning the knob off of the shower, Leon looked down and droplets of water ran in rivulets down pale bruised cheeks. The make-up had been washed off by the soap, touching a bruised Leon winced in pain, it was still sensitive. Cold eyes traveled down to the floor and Leon scowled at the dried blood that managed to stain some droplets of water that had been scattered all over the showers floor. A knock came from the other side of the door which startled the bluenette to slam their head against the wall, the door opened and Haruhi emerged with a worry look on her face, thank god the shower curtain blocked Leon from seeing Haruhi. "I'm sorry I heard a thud and came in to check if you were ok." Leon's eyes widened and dropped down again "I'm fine, just hurt my head." Haruhi sighed and let out an 'ok' before leaving again.
"Yea..I'm fine."
