Forbidden Fruit
Kairi ran up to her two best friends, with a bunch of fruit in her arms.
"How's it going, Kairi?" Sora asked. Kairi laid the fruits down.
"I though we could have a picnic down at the shore, since you guys have returned." Kairi explained. Riku and Sora looked at each other.
"Let me help you, Kairi." Riku said as Kairi picked up the fruits. They picked up all of them but one.
They both reached for it, but their hands collided. Both brought their hands back. A rose pink hue reached Kairi's cheeks.
"I got it." Riku whispered. He grabbed the small yellow fruit and they stood up.
"I will leave you guys, alone. You guys go on the picnic by yourselves." Sora said. With a big grin across his face, he turned and walked off.
Riku and Kairi stood there, staring into each other's blue eyes. "Let's go have that picnic." Riku whispered.
He reached down and grabbed her hand. "Okay." Kairi whispered. The fruits dropped to the sandy ground as they drew closer. Kairi stood on her toes and her lips met his...
